About

Hello, my name is Miss Foden and I love the positive, creative atmosphere here at Stoke Newington school and so feel very privileged to be a part of this department!
Before coming to London, I studied Music at the University of Nottingham, alongside teaching flute, piano, singing and music theory privately and running the University Musical Theatre Society.
At Stoke Newington, I teach KS3, GCSE and A Level, supervise our extra-curricular programme, and musically irect  and choreograph Show Choir and the School Musical.

Q&A

with Miss Foden

What do you like to listen to?

You'll normally find me listening to anything musical theatre or disney related - with some current favourites being Hadestown, Les Miserables and Hamilton. I also love a bit of Taylor Swift and am very excited to be seeing Harry Styles live on tour next year!

What do you like to do?

I love performing in musicals, so you can always find me in a local London theatre performing in a show! Some of my favourite past roles include Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Helen in Half a Sixpence and Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes.

Regarding non-music related hobbies, I love travelling, reading, running and chilling with my cats.
